The stones tell a story, and the silver and leather help embellish their story. I named this piece Maps, because of the distance these stones traveled, and because I love to travel!
The large rectangle beads were hand made in the Andes Mountains.
Amethyst stones have been one of the worlds most revered stones for many centuries. This stone has been known to be a protective stone, purifying the mind, and clearing negative thoughts. Amethyst has also been known to rid stress and anxiety.
Green Turquoise is one of my favorite stones to work with. The stone lacks certain minerals, mostly copper, which is why it is colored lime green! Also, one of the most desirable colors for inlaid jewelry.
Carnelian, to me is one of the most fascinating stones, because it is believed to boost confidence and self-esteem. It is rumored that Adele never performs without this stone somewhere tucked away on her body!
Last but not least this very old tear drop, robins egg turquoise, is the most legendary of all stones! A master healer, carrying an energetic flow of the highest form of love!!!
I used deer skin leather, and sterling silver beads, as well as sterling end pieces.
